T Basecamp, a local IT company, are aware of email phishing attacks targeting Microsoft users. The emails contain words like “Review” and “Statement” requesting your action.  These emails contain a (short) URL link to a supposed document CAUTION: You do not know the final destination of short links

Do NOT open it. DELETE it. If you need to verify, please contact the person directly and confirm they did send it to you.

  • Council have published their quarterly financial report – you can find it here.
  • Take part in the Coast Snap competition – closing 22 July – take photos of your beach – more information
  • Update on the Sussex Inlet, St Georges Basin, Swan Lake and Berrara Creek Coastal Management Plan:
    Council is looking forward to sharing how the feedback received during the Stage 3 consultation has been considered in this process, as well as the Stage 3 Report for the CMP.Following Stage 3, the project will move to Stage 4 which involves public exhibition of the draft CMP document. Council anticipates the public exhibition to occur in the second half of 2024.

SCC and State Planning documents for comment

  • You are invited to review and provide feedback on the draft Plan of Management (PoM) for General Community Use land, which will be closing 15 July. n the next 2 weeks.  The survey can be accessed on our website, by CLICKING HERE
  • SCC has on exhibition a Planning Proposal making ‘instrument-only amendments’ to Shoalhaven LEP 2014 to address local character in a more intentional way. More information.  Look for the document, and link to make a submission here. Comment due by 26th July.
  • Draft strategic growth principles – open for comment until 12 July.  Response to this document is via a survey, but please have the full draft set of principles open to help you respond. You will be able to enter comments in the second part of the survey.  Where and how do you think the housing supply should increase?

  • Draft Affordable Housing Strategy – this is quite a long document and there doesn’t seem to be a survey format to give feedback – so you can make your feedback as long or short as you would like. Comments due 12 July.
