Updates from last meeting
- Shoalhaven Council has announced the appointment of Robyn Stevens as the new CEO of the organisation. She will begin in the role on Monday 12 February.Ms Stevens will be joining the organisation with more than 20 years of experience working in local government including 15 years in leadership and management roles at councils in Victoria.
- Council has adopted a new Access Areas for Dogs Policy that establishes a responsive framework for managing dog access to public places such as reserves, parks, and beaches.
More information - A CCB Executive meeting with Council (2 representatives of the CCBs meeting with senior Council staff) was held on 23rd November 2023.

Council planning
- The opportunity to provide feedback on Council’s suggested path to return to a sustainable financial position is open until 24th January 2024.
As the HWCV hasn’t had the opportunity to meet to discuss this we will prepare a broad response. Please make your specific view known to council via this link. - Comment on the Open Coast and Jervis Bay Coastal Management Plan is open for comment until 5pm Friday 2 February.
