HWCV Update 28-2-04

We had a full and engaged meeting on Monday (19th) and there are a couple of matters that the HWCV is inviting your input (see below). Additionally, at the meeting we collected suggestions around what matters the HWCV, or other parts of the community, might focus on in 2024 (some things are already being addressed elsewhere).

Our next meeting will be Monday 29th April (we meet bi-monthly and try to avoid public holidays etc).

Updates from last meeting

  • HWCV received written answers from Phil Schafer regarding our questions around sustainable tourism.  There are a few matters we’d like to follow up on. Phil’s answers are here – reply to this email if you have comment or further questions for us to include.
  • HWCV has received a letter from Peter Allison, John Levett, Alan Burrows calling for a public inquiry and aiming to give the new CEO all the assistance we can. The HWCV is currently preparing a response to this letter.
