Actions from Last Meeting

It is anticipated that a report on the Planning Proposal Request to Amend the Shoalhaven Local Environments Plan 2014 for 28 Bowen Street and 34-38 Hawke Street, HUSKISSON will be considered at Council’s Ordinary Meeting on Tuesday 17 June 2025. More Information

HWCV has submitted a comprehensive objection to any alteration of the existing height limits, noting there is already a complete review and proposed broader changes to the existing LEP currently being formulated. Copy of HWCV Submission

If passed without changes there are very real concerns it will set an unparalleled precedent for further major overdevelopment, the result of which will no doubt bring greater overcrowding, traffic congestion and potential damage to the marine park and local environment.

Not to mention the unsightly visual impact on White Sands Park and overshadowing of neighbouring residential properties.

Your support in any way possible may help Council review this application with extra care.
