Updates from last meeting
- On 30th May Council organised a CCB executive meeting (2 representatives of the CCBs attended a meeting with council senior staff to receive information and ask questions.

- Next steps for the Coastal Management Plan for Sussex Inlet, St Georges Basin, Swan Lake and Berrara Creek.
SCC and State Planning documents for comment
- HWCV was notified of DA2024/1282, 1 Bowen St (proposed building of apartments on the Bowen St/Sydney St bend) – submissions on this development close on 7th August.
- Council operating hours
- IPART is hosting an on-line community and ratepayer workshop – seeking feedback on IPARTs new rate pegging methodology (the amount that council’s are automatically allowed to raise their rates). The workshop will be held 13 August, 11.15am. More information and registration.
- Currarong beach update
- HWCV received a letter from the Jervis Bay Community CruiseShip Coalition – The visit from cruise ship Pacific Adventure last weekend was a reminder that the issue of the Marine Park Management Plan has still not been resolved. It is therefore time to write to the ministers – again!
