Bi-Weekly – Email update 11 December 2021

Here is a quick update regarding Huskisson and Woollamia matters.

Activity and information since last meeting

  • Paul Sutton, and his family, have contributed tirelessly to the community over the last 25 years, including the organisation of the Clean Up Australia Day from Moona Moona Creek.  They are retiring from the Clean Up Australia Day organisation and we’d like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude, and thank them for their efforts.

Their retirement leaves a gap in the community clean up efforts – if anyone would like to organise the Clean Up Australia Day for 2022 (or longer), please contact us at exec@hwcv.org.au, Paul is willing to offer guidance.

  • A special email update on the cruise ship proposal and the draft marine park management plan will be coming out in a couple of days.
Meanwhile you might like to register for the Marine Estate management Authority’s community information webinar, to be held on Tuesday 21 December, 12 to 1 (the more people that attend the better).
    Meeting registration.
